Zero Type
How can I make a slash through the zero?
I want my computer to type zeros with a slash through them so they look less like an O. It was easy on the old Commodore, but I do not know how to do it on Windows XP.
How one of whose zeros are displayed depends on the font you use. If you want zeros to get a slash through them, you'll need to use a font that has slashes in the zeros. It's usually something that you will be charged per application ... You can change some settings by default, however. 1. Right click on your desktop and choose Properties. 2. Click the Appearance tab 3. Click the Advanced button. 4. Go through each element, and change the font. (There are not many fonts that have zeros in the slashes in the default font that you get with windows, side of the terminal, which I do not appear in this list. I recommend you try "Fixedsys", as it has a little deformed in the middle of the zero and makes it stand out). To make other changes, you can make a small change in the registry: 1. Start / Run / regedit 2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Microsofot / Windows NT / CurrentVersion / FontSubstitutes 3. Change the values for MS Shell Dlg and MS Shell DLG2 to your font of your choice (for example, type in "Fixedsys" if you want the police Fixedsys) 4. Close the window regedit. 5. You can have need to restart for the changes to take effect. And, although I have not tried, Perhaps I can use an editor fonts and easy to change all your fonts have slashes through them. I have not tried that, so I can only think like a possibility.
