What to do with a broken RC helicopter?
I have a passion RG Remote Control Helicopter and I want to change and do something with it but here's the problem: The helicopter does not take off and some pieces of plastic on the outside are missing Any ideas on how to modify the helicopter for something better or do something better with it the battery or something else? Interesting. I have not seen your Heli desroyed. Helicopter is the most difficult to repair than an airplane wing. If you have skills you'll be able to finish it. But beware when new blades. You must know the strength of the material to avoid the jump (may cause injury severe). If the engine is good, you can try to make a moving boat. I do not know if your chopper is electric or piston engine powered. I make models aircraft, and I build them with fiberglass fuselage. If you have some (single side) of the body of the helicopter, you will be able to a mold (for the other half) and make fiberglass. I build mine this way. I need time, but I'm proud to say that is my design. You can make your own design too, amending the helicopter a little, but keep the original weight. Although it is "piracy" do clone, you can copy it for repair, I think. I exclusive use of a layer of 450 g/m2 fabric fiberglass and polyester resin.The lighter the better. Good luck! Brazil.
